6 Bears & A Goat: Craft Brewery with Quality Beers & Food in Fredericksburg, VA

I really enjoyed all of the variety of beers and ales. They had a great selection of appetizers and entrées as well. Or vegetarians and vegans they had a beyond hamburger option as well as some of the appetizers looked really delicious. That brussels sprouts with balsamic glaze that looked delicious. I didn’t try it, but it would be a great option. We had two dogs with us and so we we sat in the outdoor spaces. They had a lot of shady options as well as porch seating. It was just a really nice place to hang out and enjoy talking and getting together. I would highly recommend it.

Great place to grab some food! Outdoor seating was plentiful and indoor as well. Really enjoyed the menu offerings as they weren’t overpriced and our server Matthew F was amazing. If you’re passing through or a local make sure to stop by!

Our family loved this place! From the hilarious signs warning children, to the seasoned tots and fries, we enjoyed our visit. Service, food, and atmosphere were excellent. Our kid said “Five stars plus more!”

Stopped here while traveling home. Great vibe inside, friendly and welcoming environment. Food was good - we had the pretzel as an appetizer, patty melt and grilled cheese. Side of poutine fries, the fries could have been cooked longer, they were a little on the soggy side. Would eat here again when in the area.

Our dining experience at this restaurant was pleasant. The ambiance was neat, and the food was tasty, especially the burger. We skipped the seafood options and went for steak, which was okay. We didn’t have great expectations on ordering the steak so we weren’t too disappointed when it came out cold. My friend ordered a rare steak so we were afraid asking the staff to reheat would cook the steak more. Nevertheless, our waiter was awesome and helped us choose some beers selections for our flight. We went here for the beer and had a great time.

Held a private luncheon here and it was outstanding. Laura, the Event Coordinator, was a joy to work with answering my MANY questions and making key suggestions based on her experience. The staff was wonderful as well - Meghan (on duty manager) and our servers (Laila and Aaron) were courteous, professional, and handled everything my guests needed. Of course the food and drink were delicious - as always. If you are local to FXBG I highly recommend 6B&G!!!

Enjoyed my cold IPA! Table service was a bit slow, seemed like the waiter kept having to bring plastic sippy cups out to the swarm of children outside at the brewery daycare services. As with many places, it's fine to sell cheese steaks but if you're going to call it "Philly", it should actually be Philly style. American cheese slapped on top is not Philly. Wish we had time to hang out and try more stuff but it seems like all the children get priority service. Solid beer though.
